Did you know 1 in 7 people between ages 5 and 24 skates? Boise is home to many recreational amenities for sports like soccer, tennis and cycling. By comparison, there are few places for skateboard athletes to learn and hone their skills—despite the fact that skateboarding is one of the most popular and fastest growing sports in America. Help us change this!

Typically neighborhood parks feature playgrounds catering to smaller children. But there is a huge unmet need to provide recreational opportunities for the 10- to 15-year-olds in their own neighborhoods. Skate spots and skateparks are critical to meeting this need.

Boise Skateboard Association will continue to work with Boise Parks and Recreation to provide new skate spots and skateboard parks. Parks and Recreation has several spots slotted for parks not yet in existence and a few that are.

Boise Skateboard Association, Inc is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to building and improving skateboard dots, spots, parks and skateboard programs for youth in Boise. All donations are tax deductible and will go to Boise skateboard parks. A receipt will be sent immediately for your tax records. Thank you for donating to the Boise Skateboard Parks Fund.
